The SoundEx, also known as The Sound Explosion, were a self-styled 'Rock and Soul' band from Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Their self-titled debut album was released in March 2005 on the Durham based independent record label, Captains of Industry. In 2005, when they were all aged twenty, The Sound Explosion co-headlined the first Nokia 'New School of Rock' Tour, with The Answer and Tokyo Dragons. The band also toured with The Datsuns, Hell Is for Heroes, The Mooney Suzuki, International Noise Conspiracy, Million Dead, The 5678's, Terrorvision and Kill Kenada. Following a trip to Dublin, Gordon Raphael recorded their single, "Apollo" (plus its B-side, "Let It Turn Inside Itself"), which was released in November 2005. The band signed to Red Ink (a division of Sony) in January 2006, and completed the recording of their second album with Paul Reeve in October of that year. After the dissolution of Red Ink, The SoundEx (as they were now known) signed with the independent label 'DR2 Records', and their second album, ''Palomino'', was released on 13 October 2008. The SoundEx broke up in 2008. Lead singer Glen Roughead went on to work as a NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) coach, based in Newcastle upon Tyne.〔http://grcoaching.com/〕 He continued to perform, both as a solo musician (under the name, 'Ruffhead Acoustic'),〔http://www.youtube.com/user/RuffheadAcoustic〕 and as a Swing and Big band singer, under the title, 'Glen Roughead - The New Face of Swing'.〔http://glenrswing.co.uk/〕 ==Members== *Kit Endean - Guitar and vocals *Glen Roughead - Guitar and vocals *Stevey Gibson - Drums *Euan Macfarlane - Bass 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The SoundEx」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
